Оставив вожатую разбираться с бумагами, Иван Иваныч направился прямиком в столовую и завязал какой-то разговор с иностранным гостем. Что именно они обсуждали - неизвестно, но жестикулировали они оба весьма активно.
Остальные пионеры были заняты постройкой второго этажа столовой и здания шахтерского клуба. Так сильно заняты, что появление троих новых пионеров едва не осталось незамеченным.
- Эй, вы новенькие? Так вам не сюда надо, а к вожатой нашей. Пойдем, я вас провожу! А как вас зовут?
- Шурик.
- Кабанчик.
- Энни.
- А я Славяна, но вы меня зовите Славя, меня все так зовут! Только приехали?
- Да. Нас тут подкинули по дороге - сказали, вам какие-то припасы привезли, и чтоб вы подготовили место для разгрузки.
- Ой, точно! Ольга Дмитриевна, я вам новичков привела, и нам надо срочно площадку для разгрузки построить!
- А, да. Точно. Организуй, пожалуйста, сможешь? Большое тебе спасибо.
Несмотря на все уговоры Славяны, пионеры не хотели отрываться от своих дел, чтоб построить какую-то "площадку" черт-те где. Так и не дождавшись, караван снабжения развернулся и двинулся прочь.
- Придется нам в этом сезоне выживать на своих запасах, - выразил общую мысль НаблюдаюЗаТобой, наблюдая, как тяжело груженые мулы скрываются среди деревьев.

К первым заморозкам было закончено и здание медпункта, и Виола занималась меблировкой своего нового жилья. Нужны были кровати для больных, столы и стулья, ящики, шкафы...
Мику, ввиду того, что кирпичи уже не были настолько нужны, сделала сначала несколько больших горшков, а потом - странный глиняный горн.
- Это Дяк! В него нужно дуть и зажимать вот эти дырочки, и тогда он будет играть. Он не очень хорошо вышел, но я обязательно научусь на нем играть! И буду вам устраивать концерты, обязательно!
Пионеры и сами устраивали себе развлечение в столовой. То читали стихи, то танцевали - ввиду отсутствия музыки приходилось назначать кого-нибудь "музыкантом" и отплясывать под его "пум-пурум-пурум-пум-пум". Как ни странно, это только увеличивало градус веселья.
Шахтеры, после долгих попыток таки обошли водоносный слой и докопались до надежной каменной породы. Из полезных ископаемых было обнаружено несколько окаменелостей древесины, и залежи боксита. Пользы от них особо не было, но можно было использовать для разнообразных поделок.
А мокрые тоннели на водоносном слое приспособили под выращивание подземных растений - Ольга Дмитриевна почему-то очень настаивала на том, чтоб начать выращивать какие-то особо выведенные подземные бобы. По слухам, из них можно было сделать сахар...

Энни, мясник и любительница попробовать какое-нибудь новое занятие вместо отдыха
Из незанятых остались шкуродел-резчик по кости и доярка-сыродел.

He has a natural ability with music, a natural inclination toward language and good creativity.
